Species working together

We work with several species and it is important as a team that we know everyone is comfortable at group events amongst different animals. Buddy lived with several cats when he was overseas but he has not worked side by side with them. Dude really has little or no experience around cats. And Big Boy lives with several cats but no dogs! So since these therapy pets will work together quite a lot at group activities we are having a Meet & Greet to introduce them. We are gong to meet outdoor and go indoors together. We will simulate a group visit and I invited someone to be the “client” they interact with. Let’s cross all paws that this goes well! This way there are no surprises when we begin group visits and we can plan properly.
