One year since the active shooter

Today we were at UNLV in Lied Library just as we were a year ago. We thought it was important to be with the students before the actual one year memorial of the December 6 active shooter situation. Friday there will be a public event on campus but today was just for the library staff and students and most of those who attended were with us that fateful day. Thank you to Kristie and Beatrice, Jim, Jeannie and Dude, Laurie and Cash, Rosie and Birdie, Shawn and of course Buddy. It was Buddy’s first big event as he was holding down the fort as Charlie recovers from eye surgery. But Buddy was sooo good he will do many more college visits. Thank you to Lied Library for being part of our village and always making us know we make a difference.
